From Petrol to Purpose
The EZOO story began in 2012, when Lash and Charnjit—then running Europe’s largest independent Porsche dealership – attended a sustainability lecture that would change everything.
That moment sparked a complete re-evaluation of their business and their impact. Realising the urgent need to move beyond fossil fuels, they sold their high-performance dealership and committed fully to electrification.
They immersed themselves in the world of electric vehicles – researching battery technology, policy incentives, and emerging models, and quickly became convinced that the electric car wasn’t just a cleaner option, but a better one. Quiet, powerful, and cutting-edge, it was the future of driving.
But they also recognised a problem: the barriers to entry – especially cost – were holding people and businesses back.
Solving the EV adoption problem
Outright purchase was expensive. Traditional leasing was rigid. Businesses wanted electric, but the solutions didn’t fit.
That’s where EZOO came in.
Originally launching as a flexible EV subscription platform, the company grew rapidly thanks to a wave of demand for smarter, more sustainable mobility during the pandemic.
